FARO Technologies Introduces HandyScan Black|Elite to Expand Metrology-Grade 3D Measurement Capabilities!

FARO Technologies Inc., a business unit of AMETEK, has expanded its inspection and measurement portfolio with the introduction of the HandyScan Black|Elite, a metrology-grade handheld 3D scanner designed to deliver high accuracy, repeatability, and reliability across a wide range of manufacturing applications. The launch marks the first major product initiative following FARO’s strategic partnership with Creaform, signaling a closer integration of advanced scanning technologies into FARO’s ecosystem.

The HandyScan Black|Elite is engineered for precise 3D measurement of parts with varying sizes, surface finishes, and material types, making it suitable for demanding use cases in aerospace, automotive, industrial manufacturing, tooling, and quality inspection.
