Wintriss Controls Group has appointed Keith Magnant as its new president, effective January 1, 2026. Magnant succeeds longtime president Mark Hatch, who retired at the end of 2025 after a 45-year career in manufacturing with Wintriss, including 15 years leading the company as president.

The leadership transition was strategically planned over the past 12 months, with Hatch and Magnant working closely to ensure continuity and stability. The structured handover reflects the company’s focus on maintaining operational consistency while positioning itself for future growth and innovation.

Magnant brings nearly 30 years of experience as a sales and marketing executive specializing in hardware and software manufacturing across multiple industries. Over the past 12 years at Wintriss, he has held progressively senior roles, including sales manager, director of sales and marketing, and most recently general manager. His familiarity with the company’s teams, products and customer base supports a smooth transition into the presidency.

Commenting on his appointment, Magnant said it is an honor to follow in Mark Hatch’s footsteps and continue building on the company’s legacy. He emphasized his commitment to delivering quality products, meeting customer commitments and supporting the organization’s ongoing development. He also highlighted his focus on expanding Wintriss’ presence and introducing its product portfolio to new markets.

Magnant played a key role in the company’s recent asset acquisition of ISB, which now operates as Wintriss ISB. Based in Montreal, Quebec, Canada, Wintriss ISB manufactures safety equipment for the metal forming industry. Magnant serves as president of this division as well.

The integration of Wintriss ISB’s product lineup, including light curtains, press brake guarding systems and additional safety solutions, strengthens the company’s overall offering. Combined with Wintriss’ established Shadow Light Curtains and other safety technologies, the acquisition positions the organization as a comprehensive provider of press and press brake safety solutions within the metal forming sector.

With Magnant assuming leadership, Wintriss Controls Group is positioned to continue its focus on long-term growth, product innovation and customer support. The transition marks a new chapter for the company while maintaining continuity in its mission to deliver reliable safety and control solutions to manufacturers worldwide.
