Eaton Appoints Binod Muni as Managing Director for Electrical Business in India!

**Eaton has announced the appointment of *Binod Muni* as Managing Director of its Electrical business in India**, effective *January 1, 2026*. He succeeds *Syed Sajjadh Ali*, who retired on December 31, 2025, after 17 years of leadership that played a significant role in building and expanding Eaton’s Electrical business in the country.

Binod Muni brings over 27 years of experience across sales, business development, and finance. In his new role, he will lead Eaton’s Electrical operations in India, with responsibility for driving business growth, market expansion, new product introductions, technology localization, operational excellence, and strengthening the supply chain. He will also focus on talent development and building a strong leadership pipeline to support long-term growth.

Commenting on his appointment, Binod Muni said he looks forward to leading Eaton’s Electrical business in India during a critical phase of growth, leveraging strong customer relationships, a capable team, and a solid operational base to drive innovation, deepen partnerships, and support India’s expanding electrical and energy needs.

Binod Muni joined Eaton in August 2024 as Country Head – Sales and Marketing. Prior to Eaton, he held senior leadership roles at leading multinational organizations including Saint-Gobain, Carrefour, and Schneider Electric.

Eaton has been operating in India for over 20 years and employs more than 6,300 people across its innovation center, manufacturing facilities, and commercial offices. The company continues to strengthen its local manufacturing and engineering footprint in alignment with the government’s Make in India initiative, serving key sectors including electrical, mobility, aerospace, and digital technologies.
