BEML Partners with Siemens India and Dragflow Italy for Advanced Rail and Dredging Solutions!

BEML Limited has entered into two significant collaborations aimed at boosting its capabilities in the rail and dredging sectors. The first partnership, formed with Siemens Limited India, focuses on exploring opportunities within the semi-high-speed and suburban passenger train markets, along with metro and commuter rail segments. This MoU aligns with BEML’s ongoing efforts to enhance its offerings in the transportation infrastructure space.

The second MoU with Dragflow S.R.L., an Italian leader in dredging solutions, aims to strengthen BEML’s indigenous dredging capabilities, helping the company expand its reach in water management and dredging technology. Dragflow’s expertise in designing and manufacturing high-performance dredging equipment will support BEML’s growth in the dredging industry.

For the third quarter, BEML reported a drop in net profit, which nearly halved to ₹24.4 crore compared to ₹48.2 crore in the same period the previous year. Revenue also saw a decline of 16.3%, totaling ₹876 crore. However, despite the decrease in revenue, the company saw an 8% increase in EBITDA, rising to ₹60.6 crore, driven by reductions in expenses and employee benefit costs, ultimately improving EBITDA margins.
