Tembo Global Opens New Manufacturing Facility in Vasai to Accelerate Growth!

Tembo Global Industries Ltd has inaugurated a new state-of-the-art manufacturing facility in Vasai, Maharashtra, marking a major milestone in the company’s expansion strategy. The new plant significantly strengthens Tembo’s manufacturing capabilities, increases production capacity, and positions the company to meet the growing demand from India’s engineering, infrastructure, and industrial sectors.

Developed with an investment of Rs 75 crore, the integrated manufacturing facility spans approximately 120,000 square feet and increases the company’s production capacity from 18,000 metric tonnes per annum (MTPA) to 100,000 MTPA. This substantial expansion provides Tembo Global with the scale required to support future business growth while improving manufacturing efficiency and operational performance.

The strategic location of the Vasai facility enables efficient procurement of raw materials and faster distribution of finished products, helping optimise supply chain operations and reduce logistics costs. The integrated setup is expected to improve delivery timelines while enhancing overall cost efficiency for customers across multiple industries.

A major highlight of the new facility is its advanced in-house research and development (R&D) centre, established to drive innovation and support the development of products tailored to evolving customer requirements. Backed by a team of more than 100 engineering professionals, the R&D centre will play a key role in strengthening Tembo Global’s technology capabilities and expanding its portfolio of value-added engineering solutions.

The expanded manufacturing infrastructure also supports the company’s growing presence in high-growth and high-margin business segments, including Electric Resistance Welded (ERW) pipes and Engineering, Procurement and Construction (EPC) projects. Through continued investments in forward and backward integration, Tembo Global aims to improve operational efficiencies, enhance profitability, and create long-term value for its customers.

Speaking about the inauguration, Sanjay J. Patel, Managing Director of Tembo Global Industries Ltd, described the commissioning of the Vasai facility as a landmark achievement for the company. He said the investment not only strengthens Tembo’s manufacturing capabilities but also reinforces its commitment to innovation, quality, and operational excellence. According to Patel, the increased production capacity and dedicated R&D centre will enable the company to better serve customers while expanding into high-margin business opportunities.

Looking ahead, Tembo Global expects the new manufacturing facility to support significant business growth over the coming years. The company estimates that the expanded operations have the potential to generate peak annual revenues of approximately Rs 700 crore, driven by increasing demand from infrastructure development, industrial projects, and engineering applications across India.
