Mitsui Seiki USA Inc. has announced the appointment of Joseph Farkas as its Director of Sales for the West region and Terry Ritterbush as the Director of Sales for the East region.
Joseph Farkas, bringing over 30 years of experience in sales and business management within the manufacturing sector, will oversee Mitsui Seiki’s North American sales team in the western region. He will be responsible for developing strategic, data-driven business plans and forecasts to enhance the company’s reach and efficiency. Prior to joining Mitsui Seiki, Farkas served as the National Sales Manager of Workholding Solutions at Jergens Inc. His educational background includes an MBA from Ashland University, a Bachelor of Arts in Business Management from Malone University, and an Associate Degree in Applied Science in Mechanical Engineering from Stark State College. Additionally, Farkas served part-time in the National Guard for a decade.
“My focus is entirely customer-driven,” Farkas said. “Mitsui Seiki has a long-standing reputation for customizing machine tool platforms to meet specific customer needs. I find it both challenging and rewarding to develop sophisticated, flexible manufacturing solutions that are tailor-made for each client’s application. This methodical approach ensures that the resulting equipment fits perfectly and is the most cost-effective and efficient solution throughout the life of the project.”
On the East Coast, Mitsui Seiki has promoted Terry Ritterbush to Director of Sales East. Ritterbush, who has been with the company for 20 years, brings a wealth of technical and customer application expertise to his new role. His journey with Mitsui Seiki began in 2004 in the service department, where he learned the intricacies of the company’s machinery and how to maintain their peak performance. This hands-on experience gave him a strong foundation for his subsequent roles, including Regional Sales Manager and most recently, Preventive Maintenance Manager.
Ritterbush expressed his enthusiasm for his new role: “I’m excited to take on this new challenge. Having worked with Mitsui Seiki for over two decades, I’ve gained an in-depth understanding of the technical complexities of our machines and the needs of our customers. This experience gives me a unique perspective that will help me support both our current and prospective customers more effectively.”
With the combined leadership of Farkas and Ritterbush, Mitsui Seiki USA is poised to continue its growth and maintain its reputation for providing highly customized and precise machine tool solutions tailored to customer needs.
