Paul Horn GmbH. From 1969 Foundations to a Global Leader in Precision Tooling

That same year marked the beginning of another engineering success story. Paul Horn founded Hartmetall-Werkzeugfabrik Paul Horn GmbH in Waiblingen, Germany, laying the foundations for what would become one of the most respected names in precision cutting tool technology.
The company relocated to Tübingen in 1981 and adopted the name Paul Horn GmbH. From that point forward, the business experienced rapid growth, developing into a global leader in precision grooving, parting, turning, milling, and specialised machining solutions.
Today, the family-owned company supplies more than 25,000 standard tools alongside over 200,000 customised special solutions to customers in more than 70 countries worldwide. This extensive portfolio enables manufacturers across multiple industries to optimise productivity, accuracy, and process reliability.
