Heller to Showcase Advanced Five-Axis Aerospace Machining Solutions at Paris Air Show 2025
Heller will demonstrate its industry-leading capabilities in high-precision, flexible aerospace component manufacturing at the Paris Air…
Rowan from MTDCNC visits the Heller Open House in Germany to see a new program from Siemens, interpolation turning on their H6000 Horizontal Machining Centre pretty impressive, but that’s not Heller’s best trick. As Oliver Kull from Heller shows us, with their facing slide unit and the “U” axis in the spindle Heller are able to produce any turning cycle on a Horizontal Machining Centre using standard Siemens cycles to give great accuracy & surface finish on complex parts in any material. Using HSK100 spindles it is possible to machine from 20mm to 300mm using a facing head & a turning tool, available for Heller’s partners Mapal & Ceratizit. Being able to perform turning solutions on a Horizontal Machining Centre has a huge benefit to production costs thanks to parts being able to be produced in a single operation. If you want to turn on an HMC you need to talk to Heller.
