Star SR10J sliding head lathe ‘EX STOCK’
The SR-10J offers efficient, accurate high speed small diameter machining within a compact footprint. Equipped with Fanuc’s powerful 32i-B CNC control and a 10.4” colour screen this model is the ideal replacement for cam-controlled lathes. The SR-10J employs a slant-type guideway structure for the platen on the main spindle. This rigid guideway construction enables stable cutting conditions increasing tool life and machining efficiency. The independent sub spindle and four station back-working tool post with driven tool capability increases overlapped machining opportunities. SP 23 Sliding head lathe ‘EX STOCK’
The SP-23 sliding head lathe is an entirely new model capable of 1-inch machining that has been developed by Star to deliver outstanding versatility and performance within a modest footprint. The SP-23 is equipped with an 8-station front turning platen and a 7-spindle cross drilling inner tool post, on which a wide variety of tooling attachments can be mounted with 5 cartridge positions available. The SR-32JIII Type B sliding head lathe offers best-in-class accuracy, rigidity and metal cutting performance within the 32mm diameter range. Star ST 38 sliding head 3 turret machine – ‘EX STOCK’
The ST-38 is the ideal sliding head solution for complex mill-turn parts within the 42mm diameter range. Star’s flagship model is packed with functionality that enables challenging parts to be processed in one set-up. Three 10 station turrets allow up to 70 tools to be loaded, each tool can be easily removed with Star’s unique clamping mechanism permitting fast set-up changes. The main spindle’s lower turret includes an independent Z3 axis. This axis allows two different features to be machined simultaneously (Z1 + Z3) using Star’s “super-position” control mode.
