Etech Showcases Multi-Function Grinding Innovation at GrindingHub 2026
By Tom Skubala
MTDCNC’s Tom Skubala and Chris recently travelled to Germany to attend GrindingHub 2026 and visit Etech Machinery, where they explored the company’s latest grinding machine technology and learned more about the history behind the family-run business.

During the exhibition, Tom was given a detailed walkthrough by Becky Chu, who introduced the technology and capabilities behind the two machines being showcased on the stand. One of the standout attractions was Etech’s latest machine platform, a solution designed to combine three machines into one system, delivering increased flexibility and efficiency for manufacturers looking to optimise their grinding operations.
The machine drew significant attention throughout the show, highlighting the growing demand for multi-functional equipment capable of reducing setup times, improving workflow efficiency, and maximising production capability within a smaller footprint.
Tom also sat down with Andy Chu and Randi Chu to discuss the origins of Etech and the company’s long-standing history within the machine tool industry. Founded in the 1950s, the business has continued to evolve over several decades, with Andy Chu now representing the third generation of the family involved in the company’s development and growth.

The discussion explored how Etech has adapted alongside changes in manufacturing technology while maintaining its focus on grinding machine innovation and customer support across global markets.
Additional video coverage and interviews from GrindingHub 2026 will be released soon across the MTDCNC platforms.
MTDCNC would like to thank Becky Chu, Andy Chu, Randi Chu, and the entire Etech team for their support and hospitality throughout the visit.
