Bombardier to Invest $100 Million in New Manufacturing Centre to Expand Dorval Operations!
Bombardier Inc. has announced plans to build a new 126,000-square-foot manufacturing centre in Dorval, Quebec, marking a significant investment aimed at strengthening its long-term growth and production capabilities. The new facility will be developed close to Bombardier’s existing Challenger manufacturing centre and the Laurent Beaudoin Completion Centre, reinforcing Dorval’s role as a core hub in the company’s global aerospace operations. The project represents an investment of approximately $100 million and is expected to be completed and operational before the end of 2027.
The new manufacturing centre is designed to increase Bombardier’s overall production capacity and productivity as demand for its business aircraft continues to rise worldwide. By expanding its physical footprint and modernizing infrastructure in Dorval, Bombardier aims to enhance manufacturing efficiency, streamline workflows, and support higher output without compromising quality. In Quebec alone, Bombardier directly employs nearly 10,000 people and accounts for more than 31 percent of total aerospace employment, underlining its role as a cornerstone of the province’s industrial base.
