Volks Energie Strengthens Its Footprint Across North-East India with Strategic Energy and Infrastructure Projects!
Volks Energie has strengthened its operational presence across India’s North-Eastern region by executing and commissioning multiple projects aligned with national energy, infrastructure, and sustainability priorities. The company’s recent activities span Nagaland, Assam, and Tripura, reinforcing its role as a provider of integrated solutions in energy systems, HVAC, battery storage, and engineering services in a region that is increasingly central to India’s development agenda.
Volks Energie’s expansion is closely aligned with the government’s focus on accelerating economic and infrastructure development in the North-East. The company is involved in projects that support education infrastructure, grid reliability, clean energy access, industrial operations, and strategic security facilities, contributing to both regional growth and national objectives.
One of the company’s key recent engagements includes the delivery of advanced HVAC systems at NIT Nagaland, supporting the development of modern academic infrastructure capable of meeting demanding environmental and operational requirements. In Guwahati, Assam, Volks has worked with the Grid Controller of India to integrate energy systems designed to enhance grid stability and ensure uninterrupted power supply, a critical requirement as power demand and system complexity increase.
In the energy and hydrocarbons sector, Volks has provided engineering services at Oil India’s Duliajan operations, focusing on improving system efficiency, safety, and overall energy management. These services support reliable operations in one of India’s key oil and gas producing regions, where operational continuity and safety are paramount.
Volks Energie is also contributing to the expansion of cleaner energy infrastructure in the region through its involvement in the Nagaland–Imphal pipeline project for Indradhanush Gas Grid Limited. This project plays an important role in extending access to natural gas, supporting industrial growth, and promoting a transition toward cleaner fuels in the North-East.
In Tripura, the company has commissioned a solar power plant integrated with battery energy storage for the Border Security Force, strengthening the reliability of power supply for critical border infrastructure. The combination of solar generation and storage ensures resilient, round-the-clock power in remote and sensitive locations where grid access can be limited or unreliable.
Alongside project execution, Volks Energie is actively expanding regional partnerships to support operations, service delivery, and workforce development. This localized approach is intended to improve responsiveness, build technical capability within the region, and create long-term value for local communities.
Commenting on the expansion, Piyush Goyal, Co-founder and Chief Executive Officer, said that the North-East represents a significant opportunity for sustainable infrastructure development. He emphasized that Volks remains committed to contributing to long-term national growth by delivering reliable and future-ready energy solutions in the region.
Arjun Rathi, Co-founder and Chief Operating Officer, added that while project execution in the North-East presents logistical and terrain-related challenges, the company has maintained a strong focus on consistent delivery and long-term benefits for local stakeholders.
Volks Energie provides a broad portfolio of energy storage systems, HVAC solutions, and solar power technologies for industrial and infrastructure applications across India. Its offerings include nickel-cadmium and lithium-ion battery systems, battery chargers, energy-efficient HVAC solutions designed for demanding environments, and scalable solar installations. Through its growing presence in the North-East, Volks Energie is positioning itself as a long-term partner in the region’s energy transition and infrastructure development.
