Bharat Forge and Agile Robots Partner to Deliver AI-Driven Robotics and Advanced Industrial Automation

**Bharat Forge Limited has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Germany-based *Agile Robots SE* to explore a strategic partnership focused on artificial intelligence–enabled robotics and next-generation industrial automation.** The collaboration brings together Bharat Forge’s extensive manufacturing expertise and deep understanding of industrial applications with Agile Robots’ advanced capabilities in AI-powered robotics and automation technologies. Importantly, the partnership is strictly limited to civilian manufacturing and industrial use cases.

Under the MoU, the two companies will jointly develop customized automation solutions aimed at improving productivity, flexibility, and operational efficiency across sectors such as automotive, healthcare, consumer electronics, logistics, and industrial consumer goods. A key focus of the collaboration is building local automation and robotics capabilities to serve customers in India and Southeast Asia, regions that are witnessing rapid growth in manufacturing and supply-chain infrastructure.

The partnership also includes adapting Agile Robots’ existing automation platforms to meet the specific requirements of regional manufacturers. This localization effort is intended to ensure that advanced robotics solutions align with local production conditions, cost structures, and operational realities. In parallel, Bharat Forge and Agile Robots plan to work as strategic partners in the design and deployment of vision- and AI-enabled robotic systems, with the longer-term objective of enabling highly automated and even fully autonomous, or “dark,” factory operations.
