AIDA-America, a leading manufacturer of mechanical and servo press systems headquartered in Dayton, Ohio, has announced the acquisition of Dallas Industries Inc., a well-established Troy, Michigan–based producer of coil handling and press feeding equipment. This strategic move marks another significant step in AIDA’s growth trajectory, following its earlier acquisition of HMS Products Co. in the same year. With Dallas Industries joining the AIDA group, the company further strengthens its position as a comprehensive provider of integrated pressroom automation solutions.
For decades, AIDA and Dallas Industries have collaborated closely, delivering advanced pressroom technologies to manufacturers across North America. This long-standing relationship laid the foundation for the acquisition, which aims to enhance synergies across the organizations and streamline their ability to deliver unified, value-driven solutions to customers in the metal forming and fabrication sectors.
Kland Aida, president of AIDA-America, highlighted the strategic importance of the deal, emphasizing how it aligns with the company’s vision for deeper integration and innovation. He noted that the addition of Dallas Industries builds on the momentum created earlier in the year with the acquisition of HMS Products Co., reinforcing the company’s commitment to offering flexible, high-performance, and fully automated pressroom systems. Through this expanded partnership, AIDA aims to support manufacturers with end-to-end solutions that address modern production demands, from material handling to stamping, forming, and beyond.
Dallas Industries will continue to operate independently from its long-standing headquarters in Troy, Michigan. Under the leadership of president Willie Chacko, the company’s existing management and workforce will remain in place, ensuring continuity, stability, and ongoing service to its established customer base. This structure preserves Dallas’s unique strengths and deep industry experience while positioning it to benefit from the technological resources, global reach, and engineering expertise available within the AIDA group.
Reflecting on the acquisition, Chacko expressed enthusiasm for the future collaboration, noting that both companies share a common vision built on innovation, reliability, and customer success. With Dallas Industries now aligned with AIDA and HMS, the combined organizations are poised to accelerate new product development, invest in next-generation automation technologies, and enhance the performance and efficiency of pressroom operations. Customers can expect expanded capabilities, unified solutions, and a greater level of technical support as the integration progresses.
The acquisition underscores AIDA-America’s strategic focus on growing its ecosystem of pressroom automation offerings. By bringing together three industry leaders—AIDA, HMS, and Dallas Industries—the company is building a robust and interconnected platform designed to deliver exceptional value, improved productivity, and advanced manufacturing solutions to customers across the automotive, appliance, aerospace, and general industrial sectors. Through this strengthened portfolio, AIDA-America continues to reinforce its reputation as a trusted global partner for manufacturers seeking reliable, technologically advanced pressroom systems.
