PAST have lapsed NADCAP for Chem Process and instead have now taken local approvals by MARTIN BAKER and DOWTY as the main aerospace customers on site. They have added a large medical contract to their portfolio and another commercial venture is in the prototyping phase currently. We found NADCAP was not getting us new opportunities and was not allowing us to be lean and cost effective.
PAST remain NADCAP approved for NDT DPI until January 2021 when a review will be made on this requirement
In view of REACH regulations, the decision was made to close off those processes with sunset dates imminent, so CADMIUM, CHROME, CHROMIC ANODISE are no longer supported
However capacity has been grown elsewhere reusing the footprint vacated. PAST currently offer Sulphuric Anodise in a range of colours, Hard Anodise, Passivation, Alocrom 1200, Alchromate, Stove Paint, Dry Film /Molykote, Zylon coatings, Rumbling, Media Blasting etc
Fabrication and sheetmetal are also available on site
This revised model is positive and should safeguard the future and diversify our customer base in new and exciting areas
