Shape Technologies Group Welcomes HR Trailblazer Laurie Johnston as Chief People Officer Extraordinaire!

Laurie Johnston has been appointed as the Chief People Officer of Shape Technologies Group. With more than 25 years of experience in developing and leading people strategies across various industries, Johnston previously held the position of Chief People Officer at Astrix Technology. In this role, she played a pivotal role in establishing the HR organization and overseeing all people programs.

In her new capacity, Johnston will be responsible for shaping the company’s global people strategies and operations, which includes overseeing benefits, talent management, communication, compensation, talent acquisition, compliance, and employee relations. She will report directly to President and CEO Nino LaDuca and will be an integral part of the executive leadership team.

Expressing her enthusiasm, Johnston stated, “I am excited to join Shape Technologies Group. I am passionate about unleashing the potential of employees and ensuring they have the best experience possible. I look forward to collaborating with the Shape team worldwide to drive growth and achieve success.”

Johnston holds a Juris Doctor degree, a Bachelor’s degree in Communications, and is currently pursuing a Master’s in Organizational Leadership. Additionally, she is a licensed attorney in Washington and holds SHRM-SCP and SPHR certifications.
