Some great parts from Kail and Co, machined on their Matsuura MX-850 and Doosan. Made from EN26 in the ‘W’ condition, it started as a raw forging. The main body is a hydraulic torque tool assembly used in the Oil and Gas, Construction and Mining industries. But probably the best part about this story is that their new graduate, Harry, did the CAM programming for the Matsuura. The first time he had used CAM software. And one final mention goes to the tooling suppliers Taegutec and Seco. Not only that, Seco were able to give some great support with the project. All in all, a great team effort!
