Is a certificate of conformity enough?

When it comes to thread gauges, there’s a real difference between a certificate of conformity and UKAS accreditation.

At Original Gauge Company, gauges are measured and calibrated using full UKAS accreditation procedures, checking features like pitch diameter, thread pitch, and flank angles. These are details that a basic certificate may never reveal – yet they can cause serious problems when parts need to fit together.
