Uday Dixit from Zeiss India talks about some fascinating optical technologies from the 175-year-old company, including the optical measuring system O-DETECT, launched recently for quick, precise, and intuitive measurement through features such as ISO 10360-7 standards, an overview camera, different illumination options, and a very user-friendly Calypso software. The O-DETECT is a non-contact measurement technology ideal for electronic components due to their small and flat nature. Other solutions by Zeiss include an automated inspection system which has optical sensors mounted on a robot to provide large measuring volume right on the shop floor.
