Coolant management to help prevent dermatitis

Tony Gunn of MTDCNC and John Treese of Master Fluid Solutions talk about one of the four major problems when it comes to coolant. Dermatitis, a skin condition that can cause rashes and itchiness, is often blamed on the coolant itself. John tells us the easiest way to stay safe is by maintaining coolant concentration. Other ways to prevent dermatitis is by regularly cleaning tramp oil and washing your hands every time you leave your machine. An incorrect concentration of coolant could mean there’s more coolant in contact with your skin through splashes. Watch the video to know how you can stay safe from unwanted skin problems.
