Precision engineering company Pressure Tech recently took delivery of their new STC250M manual bar chamfering machine from J&S Engineering
The company were not easily able to utilise the maximum capacity of their CNC turning machines. Having to go through a lengthy and laborious process of turning their bars down using their machine, interrupting valuable production time with the resulting cost implications of downtime.
By investing in the bar chamfering machine for bar preparation, Pressure Tech now has a dedicated machine to enable them to manage this process independently and more efficiently.
The manual bar chamfering machine enables Pressure Tech to overturn and chamfer their bars separately from their turning machines. This standalone unit is also supplied with a bar support stand to facilitate easy loading & operation.
Having a separate solution to overturn and chamfer their material has saved Pressure Tech both time and money by streamlined the process to enable them to utilise the maximum capacity of their lathes.
