MTD, ZCC Cutting Tools and Hainbuch UK were recently challenged from Intoco Special Steels and Alloys to cut Alloy 718 (widely referred to in our industry as Inconel) in the most efficient way at their manufacturing facility in Cheltenham on a DMGMORI NT 4300/1500 machine tool.
Only one piece of material was supplied so we didn’t get any second chance or practice.
