In today’s MTDCNC video, Lyndsey Vickers shows off ETG’s new Nakamura-Tome SC-100X2. Nakamura-Tome is a Japanese multi-tasking machine manufacturer which provides industry-standard products to its customers.
Lyndsey shows us the brand new configuration inside the machine, which is typically aimed at the twin spindle user. The SC-100X2 offers both a twin spindle twin turret and an offset sub-spindle, which significantly increases efficiency for the customer.
Lyndsey explains how the SC-100X2 is the go-to machine to reduce cycle times, and that it is aimed at an in-between market, where superimposed machining is the next level for customers.
