What is a War Button?

ERL based in Peacehaven, West Sussex have developed the Aquamist product based around an original concept used in Spitfires in WWII. The pilot would hit a button and water mist would be injected on to the manifold to cool it, enabling the engine to run faster and get them home quicker.

This technology has been modernised and is now supplied by ERL and used in high performance vehicles to make them even faster. Here we chat with Dave Hawkins and find out why they purchased a Citizen Miyano to improve their production.
