WFL Secures Major Contract for Automated Railway Production in India
WFL Automation Solutions has announced securing a multi-million-euro contract with Taiwanese machine manufacturer Honor Seiki. The project will deliver an advanced automation solution for a highly automated production line dedicated to forged railway wheels in India.
The turnkey solution involves the integration of Honor Seiki’s cutting-edge vertical lathes and testing machines, designed to streamline railway wheel production. Once operational, the facility will produce an impressive 100,000 railway wheels annually. Notably, the system is engineered to manufacture three distinct types of wheels without requiring any changeover, enhancing efficiency and reducing downtime.
