
VOLLMER WERKE Maschinenfabrik GmbH participated in the recent Expo Manufactura 2026, hosted from 3 to 5 February at Cintermex in Monterrey, Mexico. Recognised as the premier manufacturing event for Mexico and Latin America, the exhibition attracted over 500 exhibitors, 1,000 brands, and 20,000 specialists from 35 countries.
This year’s event emphasised key themes impacting industrial growth in the region, such as automation, sustainability, and smart production. With a focus on nearshoring, plant modernisation, and Industry 4.0, sessions on artificial intelligence, digital twins, and sustainable manufacturing were pivotal.
The diverse range of industries represented included automotive, aerospace, medical, energy, plastics, and mould making. At the VOLLMER stand, attention was directed towards the CP 650 machine. This product facilitated engaging discussions on process optimisation and productivity improvements in sharpening and grinding applications, highlighting the necessity of precision technology for Latin American manufacturers.
Key industry individuals like Federico, Max Jecklin from Alpin de Mexico, and partners from Oelheld, Steven Lowery and Salvador Ibarra, contributed to the success of the week.
