The event, which encourages cycling as a sustainable mode of transport, saw the Starrag team cover a total of 5,748 kilometers, reducing their carbon footprint by avoiding 942.6 kg of CO2 emissions.

The company’s enthusiastic commitment to promoting eco-friendly initiatives is further reflected in their participation statistics. One standout performer in the team was Heinz Finken, who impressively cycled 1,290 kilometers, reclaiming his position as the team’s top contributor. His distance surpassed last year’s achievement, marking him as a key player in the team’s success.

Starrag has expressed gratitude towards not only Finken but all team members who showed dedication and perseverance, cycling in diverse weather conditions. Special appreciation was also conveyed to their retired participants, referred to as “Unruheständler”, who continue to support and motivate the team through their active involvement.

The team’s enthusiasm and dedication to sustainability truly stood out, and their efforts were lauded by company representatives. Starrag sees these achievements as a perfect blend of team spirit and commitment to environmental responsibility.

Looking ahead, Starrag is keen to participate in the next Stadtradeln event and aims to improve its performance further. The company also anticipates the announcement of a special evaluation for the “most active company”, an accolade they are hopeful to contend for.

Starrag, known for its precision machinery and engineering solutions, continues to demonstrate leadership, not just in the industry but also in fostering a culture of sustainability and teamwork.
