Oemeta Launches 2026 Shop Floor Trials to Improve Coolant Performance and Productivity
By Tom Skubala
Oemeta has announced a new initiative for 2026 aimed at addressing one of the most common challenges in machining operations. Coolant performance and the widespread impact it can have across the factory floor.
The company is launching 12 hands-on shop floor trials designed to help manufacturers overcome issues such as short sump life, unpleasant odours, machine contamination and inconsistent cutting performance.

The trials will focus on extending coolant life, improving machine cleanliness and stabilising machining conditions. By addressing these areas, Oemeta aims to help manufacturers achieve more predictable production, reduced maintenance and improved overall efficiency.
Although coolant management is often overlooked, it plays a critical role in machining performance. Stable coolant conditions can improve tool life, enhance surface finish and create better working environments for machine operators. When coolant systems are well maintained and optimised, machines run more reliably and productivity increases.
Through this initiative, Oemeta is inviting manufacturers experiencing coolant related challenges to participate in real production trials throughout 2026, allowing companies to evaluate solutions directly within their own manufacturing environments.
The programme highlights how improvements in fluid management can deliver meaningful gains in shop floor performance without requiring major equipment investment. In many cases, improving output begins with improving the environment in which machines operate.
