The North Carolina Department of Labor has officially acknowledged the company as a Carolina Star Program participant, highlighting its commitment to safety excellence.
A ceremony at Muratec’s headquarters in Charlotte saw Labor Commissioner Luke Farley celebrate this significant achievement, placing Muratec among the state’s “best of the best.” Farley praised the company’s dedication to fostering a secure and proactive working environment for its employees.
The Carolina Star certification underscores Muratec USA’s longstanding commitment to safety, teamwork, and innovation. President and CEO Keiji Yuasa applauded the dedicated efforts of the company’s workforce, stating, “Muratec has spent over 90 years developing innovative, reliable automation technologies. Today’s achievement strengthens that legacy and sets the foundation for our future.”
Special recognition was given to Safety Specialist Ken Dake along with members of Muratec’s safety committee including Jesse Whaley, Tyler Ninassi, Larry Polen, and Scott Pierce. Their leadership and dedication have been instrumental in advancing the firm’s safety initiatives, ultimately leading to the esteemed Carolina Star certification.
