Zoller Celebrates 80th Anniversary with Open House & Technology Days Event in Ann Arbor!

Zoller, a global leader in smart manufacturing solutions, marked its 80th anniversary at its North American headquarters in Ann Arbor, Michigan, with a grand three-day Open House & Technology Days event from May 6-8, 2025. The event brought together manufacturers, partners, industry leaders, and members of the media to celebrate the company’s legacy and explore the future of smart manufacturing. It also provided a platform to showcase the latest in Zoller’s precision technology solutions, highlighting its commitment to driving efficiency and innovation.

The theme of the event, “ELEVATE. EFFICIENCY.,” underscored Zoller’s ongoing focus on enhancing operational performance across all industries. The celebration followed the recent unveiling of Zoller’s newly expanded Pacific facility in April, reinforcing the company’s expanding presence and capability in North America. Attendees had the opportunity to engage with interactive technology demonstrations, attend expert-led presentations, and hear from customers about their success stories using Zoller Solutions.

The first day of the event was dedicated to media and partners, offering an in-depth look at Zoller’s journey over the past 80 years and its vision for the future of smart manufacturing. Alexander Zoller, President of Zoller Inc., shared insights into industry trends and how Zoller continues to lead the charge in driving efficiency, precision, and automation for companies of all sizes. The event highlighted Zoller’s long-standing dedication to customer-driven solutions that meet the evolving demands of modern manufacturing.

Day two centered on maximizing efficiency from CAM to part, with presentations from industry experts like Jonathan Meeker of Milacron and Chiara Schildendorfer of Pankl Aerospace, who detailed how Zoller Solutions have streamlined their toolroom and machining operations. Zoller experts provided interactive demonstrations of their cutting-edge products, including the coraMeasureLG and roboBox, as well as the TMS Tool Management Solutions, emphasizing the impact these solutions have on productivity and performance. A key highlight of day two was the launch of the 2026 Toolroom of the Year competition, which aligns with Zoller’s ongoing mission to recognize customer success and elevate efficiency in tool management.

The final day of the event focused on advancements in tool inspection technology. Nathan Cranker, Owner and Operations Manager of Gorilla Mill, shared how Zoller’s solutions have helped enhance both quality and efficiency in tool manufacturing. One of the standout moments was the unveiling of titan, Zoller’s newest innovation for fully automatic measuring and inspection of precision cutting tools and edge-prep. The introduction of the titan technology exemplified Zoller’s continued commitment to pushing the boundaries of precision and automation.
