ZEISS Unveils Cutting-Edge Solutions and Innovations at IMTEX FORMING 2024: Elevating Precision and Performance

Q: What’s the standout feature of your presence at IMTEX FORMING 24, and what’s the buzz around your pavilion?

A: We’re thrilled to be part of IMTEX FORMING 2024. With investment sentiment soaring and business indicators forecasting robust growth in 2024, this event is the perfect platform to connect with our customers. Our pavilion is a showcase of a compelling storyline woven with Software Eco-systems, Robotic measurement solutions, Data connectivity, Precision hardware, and dedicated ZEISS engineers.

Customers can expect to see Automated solutions for Inline Car Body shop inspection and Dimensional measurement using Automated Blue light scanners, catering to the burgeoning demand in the automotive market. Additionally, standard devices in Metrology like CMM, Optical, and SF&G solutions tailored for the Auto component industry will be on display, aligning with its strong growth trajectory.

We’re placing a special focus on our ZEISS Quality Suite, a software ecosystem integrating high-tech 3D software solutions into one platform for any hardware, whether it’s a CMM, Optical, or CT. From Measurement to Reverse engineering or Data-based decision making, the applications are diverse and comprehensive. In essence, we’re eagerly anticipating the main event.

Manoj-Sundaram, Head of Business Development, Carl Zeiss India, remarks, “We aim to be understated while letting our solutions and customers speak for themselves. Our primary opportunity lies in engaging with the Indian FORMING community, understanding their needs, and leveraging the insights we gather.”

Q: Can you highlight the innovative products you’ll be showcasing?

A: While some technologies will be updated versions of existing systems & software, we have notable innovations in both hardware and software. One standout product is the ZEISS ScanBox Series 5, an all-in solution for automated inspection and digitization of complex parts, providing full-field measuring results for CAD comparison in record time.

On the other end is ZEISS AIMax, a digital-optical 3D sensor setting a new benchmark in robot-based 3D inline metrology for sheet metal processing and car body construction. Its unique combination of three measuring principles in one compact sensor enables the measurement of complex geometric characteristics with maximum robustness.

Q: Are there any new product launches at the event?

A: Yes, we’re introducing two products to the Indian Market – ScanBox and Technical Cleanliness Microscopes. Additionally, we’re relaunching DURAMAX, our Shop floor CMM, now being produced at our Bengaluru facility, in support of ‘Make in India’. The Technical Cleanliness Microscopes with the TCA software solution, being AI-based, are a distinctive offering in the microscopy segment and address a crucial need in the industry.

Q: Zeiss seems to have a strong presence this time. Can you elaborate?

A: Our focus is on engaging with the Indian FORMING community to understand their needs and showcase our solutions. It’s not about being conspicuous; however, this time, we’ll have a wider range of solutions on display, from Robot-based automated solutions to AI-based Technical Cleanliness solutions and our enhanced ZEISS Quality Suite software portfolio. While our booth number remains A-122 in Hall 3A, the showcased solutions will undoubtedly increase our visibility to customers and visitors.
