
ZEISS India appoints Sharath Sirivolu to lead CARIn, strengthening R&D leadership!
ZEISS India has appointed Sharath Sirivolu as Head of its Center for Applied Research in India (CARIn), reinforcing its commitment to advancing research and development capabilities in Bengaluru. Sharath brings more than 25 years of experience in R&D leadership, having worked with leading global organisations such as GE Healthcare and Schneider Electric. His background spans healthcare, energy and industrial automation, where he has led large-scale technology programs and driven innovation-led growth.
His expertise includes managing complex engineering projects, building high-performance teams and fostering early-stage ventures that support long-term strategic objectives. This experience aligns closely with ZEISS India’s ambition to expand its research capabilities and deliver cutting-edge solutions in a rapidly evolving technological landscape.
