Westway Machinery, based in Mississauga, Ontario, has announced a major expansion of its product lineup through new distribution agreements with two globally recognized manufacturing technology leaders. The company is now an authorized dealer for Muratec across Canada, and for Peddinghaus structural steel processing equipment in Ontario, Quebec and the Maritime provinces.
Muratec is known for its high-performance turret punch presses and punch/laser combination machines — equipment widely used for precision sheet metal fabrication. By adding Muratec to its offerings, Westway strengthens its ability to support Canadian manufacturers seeking advanced automation and productivity solutions in sheet processing.
In the structural steel sector, Westway is now representing Peddinghaus, a longtime industry leader known for rugged, high-speed systems engineered for accuracy and throughput. Westway will now carry Peddinghaus’ extensive lineup, including beam drill lines, angle lines, plate processors and thermal cutting machines, giving fabricators across the region access to world-class equipment built for demanding applications.
“Westway Machinery is proud to announce the addition of Peddinghaus and Muratec to our lineup,” company representatives stated. “By combining legendary structural steel processing with advanced automation, we are delivering unmatched value and precision to the shop floor. We are excited to represent these world-class brands and look forward to helping Canadian fabricators leverage this technology for future growth.”
This expansion reinforces Westway Machinery’s commitment to providing Canadian manufacturers with cutting-edge fabrication technologies and comprehensive support, enabling them to boost efficiency, enhance precision and stay competitive in a rapidly evolving industry landscape.
