Walter has appointed André Vasconcelos as global sales director for workholding, reinforcing its strategy to expand and strengthen its clamping fixtures, workholding and special machine portfolio.
Headquartered in Greer, South Carolina, Walter continues to invest in its workholding capabilities as part of a broader growth initiative. The newly created role underscores the company’s commitment to building a more unified and globally aligned sales structure for its workholding solutions.
Vasconcelos previously served as sales manager at Walter, where he played a key role in developing and expanding the company’s workholding portfolio. His experience includes supporting regional teams and strengthening customer relationships across multiple markets.

His mandate includes supporting regional sales teams in promoting workholding solutions, improving global coordination and increasing responsiveness and collaboration, particularly throughout the Americas. As part of the transition, Vasconcelos will relocate to the Walter Americas campus in Greer, where he will work closely with the U.S. team while continuing to support sales operations in Europe.
According to Pedro Pacheco, the appointment reflects Walter’s commitment to strengthening its workholding business through strategic talent investment. He noted that Vasconcelos’ experience and customer-focused approach position him well to further enhance the company’s global workholding presence.
With this leadership move, Walter aims to reinforce global alignment, accelerate market development and deliver enhanced workholding solutions to customers across its international network.
