Universal Robots Appoints Jean-Pierre Hathout as New President!

Jean-Pierre Hathout brings extensive leadership experience to his new role at Universal Robots. Prior to joining Universal Robots, Hathout served as the President of Mobile Industrial Robots (MiR), where he successfully strengthened the company’s global position and expanded its product portfolio. Before his tenure at MiR, he was President of SIT Controls USA and spent 17 years at Bosch, holding several international management roles.

Hathout holds a doctorate in mechanical engineering from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT), and his global experience in leading advanced automation solutions will be invaluable as Universal Robots continues to innovate in the robotics and automation sectors.
