United Alloy, a family-owned leader in metal fabrication and welding solutions, has announced a significant expansion of its manufacturing capacity at its Union, Ohio facility. This expansion marks a major milestone in the company’s growth, as it adds an additional 350,000 square feet to its previously planned 174,000 square feet, bringing the total footprint of the facility to 532,000 square feet.
The newly expanded facility will play a pivotal role in the production of critical components for the data center and engine room exhaust plenum sectors, further solidifying United Alloy’s position as a key player in the manufacturing of fuel tanks, reservoirs, and other heavy-duty metal fabrications. With a total investment of $48 million, the Union facility expansion is set to not only enhance production capacity but also generate significant employment opportunities in the region. The expansion is expected to create 250 new jobs, with the total number of employees at the site expected to exceed 400 once fully staffed.
