UNISIG Deep Hole Drilling Systems, a leading global manufacturer of deep hole drilling machines and automation systems, has announced the promotion of Steve Landmann to Vice President of Sales. This leadership change marks both a continuation of the company’s strong customer-centric sales approach and a transition as Jeff Price, who has served in the role for more than 22 years, prepares to retire in December.

Landmann brings more than a decade of experience with UNISIG, where he has successfully managed sales across the Midwest region. During this time, he played a pivotal role in strengthening the company’s reputation for providing reliable, application-specific solutions to some of the most challenging deep hole drilling requirements. His expertise spans predictive maintenance, machine building, and system installation, giving him a strong understanding of customer needs and the operational demands of high-value manufacturing environments.

In his new role, Landmann will lead UNISIG’s global sales team, working closely with executive management to sustain growth, respond to evolving market requirements, and reinforce the company’s commitment to professionalism and solution-oriented selling. He emphasized that his top priority will be ensuring that customer needs remain central to the company’s approach. “I want UNISIG to continue prioritizing what has always been most important—meeting customer needs,” Landmann said. “My goal is to keep customer focus at the center of our work while advancing solutions that address the most challenging deep hole drilling applications.”

Anthony Fettig, CEO of UNISIG, praised Landmann’s promotion, highlighting his proven leadership qualities and commitment to customer success. “I’ve worked closely with Steve for more than 10 years and have always appreciated his commitment to our customers, his problem-solving skills, and his dedication to UNISIG,” Fettig said. “I’m confident he will provide strong leadership as he guides our sales team in the years ahead.”

The leadership transition also recognizes the significant contributions of Jeff Price, who will retire after a distinguished 22-year tenure as Vice President of Sales. Price was instrumental in expanding UNISIG’s global reach and advancing its capabilities in deep hole drilling systems and automation. His efforts helped establish UNISIG as a trusted partner for manufacturers across industries such as aerospace, automotive, defense, and energy. “Jeff’s leadership and dedication have been essential to UNISIG’s development,” said Fettig. “We thank him for his many contributions and wish him the best in retirement.”

As Landmann steps into his new position, UNISIG is poised to continue its tradition of delivering innovative, high-quality solutions for deep hole drilling applications while adapting to the evolving needs of manufacturers worldwide. With his extensive technical knowledge, customer-first mindset, and proven track record, Landmann’s leadership is expected to drive continued growth and reinforce UNISIG’s role as a global leader in precision drilling technology.
