High-tech manufacturing leader TRUMPF is now offering its industrial laser systems as fully automated, turnkey solutions, enabling users to significantly reduce cycle times and operational costs in 3D laser material processing.
By integrating flexible automation technologies with its advanced laser machines, TRUMPF is helping customers streamline production processes not only during laser machining, but also in upstream and downstream operations.
“Our laser machines are highly productive,” said Martina Gassenmeier, who leads sales of automation solutions for TRUMPF’s laser technology division. “By automating our systems, we’re giving customers the tools to optimise their entire production line. Thanks to our extensive experience, detailed planning expertise, and close cooperation with our partner Autom8, we deliver customised automation solutions that meet real-world manufacturing challenges.”
At the company’s INTECH in-house exhibition, TRUMPF is showcasing a sample setup: a complete automation cell featuring a 3D laser cutting machine, a robotic handling system, and a camera-based quality control unit — all working seamlessly together.
Meeting the Growing Demand for Automation
Automation is increasingly essential in modern manufacturing, particularly in industries such as automotive body construction, where complex and oversized hot-formed parts must be handled quickly and with precision. TRUMPF’s automation offerings are designed not only for experienced manufacturers but also for companies new to automation.
“As a leading supplier of industrial laser systems, we’re proud to offer customers access to our decades of know-how,” Gassenmeier added. “Our role extends far beyond machinery — we deliver full-scale planning, implementation, and long-term support.”
A Complete, Customer-Centric Solution
TRUMPF offers a comprehensive automation package — from initial consultation and project planning to on-site installation, commissioning, and after-sales service. The company oversees every step of the process and acts as a single point of contact to simplify project execution.
Installation is coordinated in close partnership with automation specialist Autom8, while TRUMPF retains full project management responsibility to ensure timely, efficient implementation. Once operational, TRUMPF continues to support customers through service offerings such as troubleshooting, maintenance planning, and ongoing optimisation.
With this initiative, TRUMPF strengthens its position as a one-stop provider for high-performance laser solutions and smart automation in advanced manufacturing.
