In a significant move to support India’s electric mobility transition, Statiq as partnered with Hindustan Petroleum Corporation Limited (HPCL), one of the country’s leading public sector fuel retailers. This collaboration is set to enhance the accessibility and convenience of electric vehicle (EV) charging across India by integrating HPCL’s entire network of EV chargers—both current and planned—into Statiq’s cutting-edge digital platform, EVLinq.
This partnership brings a substantial boost to the nation’s EV infrastructure, incorporating over 5,100 HPCL chargers, including 2,900 DC fast chargers, into the Statiq app. With HPCL’s extensive network of over 23,000 fuel stations, this integration significantly expands the availability of EV charging stations, providing users with a seamless and user-friendly experience for finding and utilizing charging points. The initiative also supports the Government of India’s PM eDrive program, launched under the Ministry of Heavy Industries, aimed at promoting electric mobility and accelerating the adoption of electric vehicles across the country.
Through this integration, Statiq further solidifies its position as a leader in EV charging aggregation. The EVLinq platform provides real-time visibility, easy navigation, and streamlined charging services at HPCL locations, ensuring compatibility with a wide range of charging technologies and service providers. This enhances the overall user experience, making it easier for electric vehicle owners to charge their vehicles anywhere in the country.
This partnership is another significant step toward unifying India’s fragmented EV charging landscape. EVLinq’s goal is to create a cohesive and reliable infrastructure that will not only support charge point operators (CPOs) but also electric mobility service providers (eMSPs). By offering a robust backend system, EVLinq improves network performance, visibility, and accessibility, paving the way for a more efficient and scalable EV charging ecosystem in India.
Raghav Arora, Co-founder and CTO of Statiq, commented on the partnership: “Bringing HPCL’s extensive network onto our platform is a significant milestone. It not only broadens our reach but also contributes to our goal of delivering convenient, user-friendly charging access nationwide.”
Statiq, which currently operates over 8,000 AC and DC chargers across more than 70 Indian cities, has ambitious plans for further expansion. The company aims to reach 20,000 charging points by the end of 2025, working closely with government bodies, automakers, and hospitality partners to build an open and scalable EV charging infrastructure. Through this collaboration with HPCL and its continued expansion, Statiq is playing a pivotal role in driving India’s transition to cleaner, more sustainable transportation solutions.
