SheMaker Summit Season 5 Set to Empower Women in Manufacturing!

The SheMaker Summit, a pioneering initiative dedicated to advancing gender equality in the manufacturing sector, is poised to return for its fifth season on October 17, 2024, in Mumbai. This year, the summit introduces two impactful initiatives designed to enhance women’s participation and leadership within the industry.

One of the key initiatives is the SheMaker Roadshow, aimed at inspiring and attracting women from engineering colleges to pursue careers in manufacturing. Through engaging campus interactions and collaborations with leading manufacturing organizations, the roadshow will offer students exposure to cutting-edge technologies and innovations, insights into diverse career paths, and opportunities to connect with industry leaders and role models.

In addition, the Women Inspire Success in Engineering (WISE) program will provide a comprehensive five-month curriculum tailored for mid-senior level women in manufacturing. This program will focus on cultivating leadership skills, mastering functional expertise, and offering mentorship and networking opportunities, fostering personal and professional advancement.

The summit will feature a keynote address titled “The Future of Women in Manufacturing: Breaking Barriers and Shaping Innovations,” highlighting the crucial contributions of women in driving technological advancements and overcoming industry challenges. Attendees can also look forward to success stories from four leading companies showcasing how women play pivotal roles in driving innovations across various sectors. The Red Carpet Stories segment will celebrate inspiring women who have forged successful careers in manufacturing, while the SheMaker Awards will honor trailblazers—both individuals and organizations—who have made significant strides towards gender equality in the sector.
