Star SU, a leading marketing, sales, and service affiliate of Star Cutter Company, has appointed Scott Lukomski as its new Sales Director for Cutting Tools. Lukomski will report directly to Andreas Blind, President of Star SU, and will lead the company’s Sales team across all cutting tool applications.
In his new role, Lukomski will be responsible for driving growth and ensuring that Star SU continues to deliver exceptional customer service. His duties will include providing leadership and coaching to account and area sales managers, partnering with key accounts, and implementing sales strategies across various cutting tool sectors. Lukomski’s goal is to ensure that Star SU continues to meet the needs of its customers in the most efficient and effective manner possible.

Lukomski brings with him an extensive background in sales, marketing, engineering, and account management, particularly within the automotive and aerospace industries. Before joining Star SU, Lukomski served as Sales and Marketing Director at Marposs Corporation and has held similar roles at Perception/ISRA Vision and Jenoptik Automotive. This wealth of experience is expected to play a critical role in helping Star SU expand its presence and capabilities in the cutting tool market.

Lukomski has a background in mechanical engineering/technology, having studied at Lawrence Technological University and Schoolcraft College. Outside of his professional achievements, Lukomski enjoys DIY projects and spending time outdoors with his wife, Tanya, and their two grown children. They reside in the Plymouth, Michigan area.
