Schmersal Group Expands Footprint in Asia with New Subsidiary in South Korea!

Schmersal Group has strengthened its presence in Asia by establishing a new subsidiary in Seoul, South Korea, named Schmersal Korea Ltd. This marks a significant step in the company’s strategy to expand in one of Asia’s wealthiest and technologically advanced markets. Uwe Seeger, Director of Asia-Pacific & Middle East at Schmersal, will oversee the operations of the new subsidiary, which aims to cater to the growing demand for safety-related products and services in South Korea’s vibrant business climate.

The Seoul office, which is initially led by Woncheol Shin, an experienced application engineer, will act as a safety consultancy hub for both new and existing clients. Schmersal Korea Ltd. will provide a wide range of safety switchgear products and systems, helping clients enhance workplace safety and comply with industrial safety regulations.

The new office is situated in the Noon Square building in Seoul, and Schmersal Group aims to utilize this location to strengthen its position in the region.
