The inauguration ceremony was attended by prominent figures, including Georg F. W. Schaeffler, Chairman of the Supervisory Board and Family Shareholder; Eranti Sumithasri; Matthias Zink, CEO of Powertrain & Chassis; and Dharmesh Arora, Regional CEO of Asia Pacific. This expansion is poised to bolster Schaeffler’s capabilities in the development and production of key automotive components.

The new facility is strategically designed to manufacture critical components for the powertrain sector, including hybrid gearbox parts, planetary gear systems, and both traditional and electric powertrain parts.
