RR Kabel Launches High-Performance Wires for High-Load and High-Temperature Applications!
RR Kabel Limited has introduced a new range of advanced electrical wires designed to meet the evolving demands of modern homes and infrastructure, where higher ambient temperatures, rising power consumption, and stricter safety expectations are becoming the norm. The newly launched portfolio includes Superex Green HR+FR and Firex LS0H-EBXL wires, engineered for applications that require superior thermal performance, durability, and enhanced safety.
The new wire range is designed to support heavier electrical loads while maintaining consistent performance under elevated temperature conditions. RR Kabel’s product development efforts focused on improved heat resistance, electrical efficiency, and long-term reliability, along with environmental and safety compliance. Both products are manufactured using 100 percent pure electrolytic copper, ensuring stable conductivity and reduced energy losses over time.
Superex Green HR+FR wires are rated for operation at temperatures of up to 85°C and comply with REACH and RoHS standards, eliminating a wide range of regulated substances. Featuring a Class 2 conductor for enhanced mechanical strength and built-in anti-pest protection, the wires are suited for long-term residential and commercial installations, with packaging that reflects the product’s eco-friendly positioning.
Firex LS0H-EBXL wires are designed for environments where fire safety is critical. Using Electron Beam Cross-Linking (EBXL) technology and Low Smoke Zero Halogen (LS0H) insulation, the wires can carry significantly higher electrical loads than conventional PVC wires and withstand extreme temperatures without melting. In the event of a fire, the insulation emits minimal, non-toxic smoke, helping maintain visibility and support safe evacuation. The wires also offer flexibility during installation, extended service life, and protection against rodents and termites.
Commenting on the launch, Rajesh Kabra, Executive Director of RR Kabel, said the new products are aimed at addressing future requirements driven by climate conditions, higher electrical demand, and the growing need for safer, more resilient building infrastructure.
With over 25 years of operations in India and a presence in more than 90 countries, RR Kabel continues to invest in research and engineering to enhance product safety, performance, and compliance across residential, commercial, industrial, and infrastructure applications.
