Rangsons Aerospace has secured a long-term award from Airbus, marking a major milestone in its growth as a global aerospace manufacturing partner. The award was formally signed by Olivier Cauquil, Senior Vice President of Aerostructures Procurement at Airbus, and Pavan Ranga, Managing Director and CEO of Rangsons Aerospace, signifying a pivotal moment in the strategic collaboration between the two companies and reinforcing mutual confidence in long-term cooperation.
As part of this engagement, Rangsons Aerospace has been designated the first Indian Tier-1 supplier to manufacture critical aviation tubes and duct assemblies for the Airbus A320 Family. This recognition underscores Rangsons’ advanced engineering capabilities, manufacturing scale and ability to meet stringent global aerospace standards, while also highlighting India’s expanding role in the international aerospace value chain.
Commenting on the development, Pavan Ranga said the award reflects Rangsons Aerospace’s sustained focus on quality, operational excellence and customer trust. He noted that partnering with Airbus on such a critical programme is a matter of pride and an opportunity to contribute meaningfully to one of the world’s most successful commercial aircraft families.
The collaboration is expected to strengthen Airbus’ global supply chain resilience while supporting the continued development of India’s aerospace manufacturing ecosystem. Beyond industrial capability building, the partnership is also projected to generate high-skilled employment, encourage technology integration and reinforce India’s position as a reliable hub for advanced aerospace components.
