Quickparts has taken a major step forward in its mission to empower “Limitless Manufacturing” with the completion of a $2.5 million expansion at its Seattle headquarters. This strategic investment officially transforms the facility into the company’s Aerospace & Defense Center of Excellence, reinforcing its decades-long leadership in producing high-fidelity casting patterns and next-generation stereolithography (SLA) solutions. The expansion integrates new equipment, enhanced manufacturing capabilities and upgraded infrastructure, aligning with Quickparts’ commitment to deliver precision, speed and reliability for industries where accuracy is mission critical.
For more than 35 years, Quickparts has served as a trusted partner in advanced manufacturing, particularly in casting patterns used in aerospace, defense, automotive and high-performance industrial applications. The Seattle expansion significantly increases the company’s QuickCast and SLA production capacity, allowing for higher throughput, increased dimensional repeatability and improved surface fidelity. These enhancements are particularly valuable for applications in drones, satellites, propulsion systems and aviation components, where consistency and accuracy can directly impact mission readiness and performance. By expanding these capabilities, Quickparts reinforces its role as a premier U.S. hub for investment casting patterns and advanced SLA technologies.
Company leaders emphasize that this expansion is not merely a facilities upgrade but a bold investment in strengthening American manufacturing. According to Aidan O’Sullivan, Americas President at Quickparts, the expanded operations will enable the company to better support aerospace and defense programs where precision is essential, while also empowering medical and automotive manufacturers with rapid, production-grade tooling solutions. This direction is echoed by CEO Avi Reichental, who highlighted that Quickparts has spent more than three decades pushing the boundaries of global manufacturing innovation, and the latest developments further align with its commitment to solving complex production challenges.
Coinciding with the Seattle expansion is the North American launch of Quick Mold, a new solution designed to accelerate time-to-market through fast, production-quality injection molding. Following its successful introduction in Europe, Quick Mold is now available to customers across the U.S. and Canada, providing high-quality molded parts in as little as five days. This offering is ideal for engineers looking to shorten design cycles, validate materials, perform functional testing or adapt quickly to design changes without compromising on quality.
Quick Mold uses rapidly machined aluminum tooling combined with engineering-grade thermoplastics to produce production-equivalent components at unmatched speed. The solution has already demonstrated impressive real-world results, including a one-day design cycle using PA66 GF50, a four-day turnaround for high-stress automotive parts, and the complete redesign, tooling and molding of a luxury vehicle button in just four days. These outcomes underscore Quickparts’ dedication to helping manufacturers maintain momentum even under aggressive development schedules.
Together, the establishment of the Aerospace & Defense Center of Excellence and the widespread launch of Quick Mold represent a unified strategy to enhance advanced manufacturing in the United States. By combining industry-leading precision casting capabilities with rapid-molded production solutions, Quickparts is strengthening its role as a key enabler of innovation, speed and reliability for modern manufacturers.
