PTC Industries and Aerolloy Technologies Unveil Cutting-Edge Titanium and Superalloys Plant in Uttar Pradesh Defence Corridor!

In a landmark moment for India’s defence and aerospace manufacturing ecosystem, PTC Industries Limited, through its wholly owned subsidiary Aerolloy Technologies Limited, inaugurated a state-of-the-art Titanium and Superalloys Materials Plant at the Strategic Materials Technology Complex in Bhagatgaon, Lucknow. The grand Lokarpan Ceremony took place on October 18, 2025, marking a major leap in India’s quest for technological self-reliance in advanced materials production.

The inauguration ceremony was graced by two of India’s most prominent leaders — Hon’ble Rajnath Singh, Raksha Mantri, Government of India, and Hon’ble Yogi Adityanath, Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh. Their presence underscored the national significance of the project and its alignment with India’s defence modernization and industrial growth agenda. The event also saw participation from senior officials of the Ministry of Defence, Government of Uttar Pradesh, and leading representatives from the defence, aerospace, and manufacturing sectors, reflecting the wide-ranging interest and strategic importance of this milestone.

This new facility represents a remarkable stride forward for PTC Industries and for India’s broader “Aatmanirbhar Bharat” vision — an initiative aimed at promoting self-sufficiency and reducing reliance on imports in key strategic sectors. The plant will focus on the production of high-performance Titanium and Superalloy materials, which are essential for defence, aerospace, and other high-precision industrial applications. These materials form the backbone of modern technologies, used extensively in jet engines, missile systems, submarines, and other critical defence and aerospace components where strength, durability, and heat resistance are paramount.

Equipped with advanced machinery, automation systems, and world-class infrastructure, the Titanium and Superalloys Materials Plant is designed to deliver materials that meet stringent international standards. By leveraging cutting-edge metallurgical processes and precision engineering capabilities, the facility will not only enhance India’s domestic manufacturing capabilities but also position the nation as a competitive global supplier of advanced materials.

Speaking at the event, the dignitaries emphasized the strategic importance of such indigenous developments in strengthening India’s defence manufacturing base. Rajnath Singh lauded PTC Industries and Aerolloy Technologies for their commitment to innovation and contribution toward building a self-reliant India. Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath also praised the establishment of the plant within the Uttar Pradesh Defence Industrial Corridor, noting that it would create significant employment opportunities, attract further investments, and contribute to the region’s industrial ecosystem.

Founded in 1963, PTC Industries has established itself as a leader in high-precision cast and machined components, serving global industries including aerospace, defence, oil & gas, and power generation. Through its continuous pursuit of innovation and technology advancement, the company has built a reputation for excellence in metallurgy and precision manufacturing. The launch of this Titanium and Superalloys facility further solidifies PTC’s position as a pioneering force driving India’s industrial transformation.

This milestone not only represents a technological triumph but also a symbolic step toward India’s future as a global hub for advanced materials and defence manufacturing. With the commissioning of this plant, PTC Industries and Aerolloy Technologies have reaffirmed their commitment to innovation, sustainability, and national progress — paving the way for a stronger, more self-reliant India.
