Volvo Construction Equipment (Volvo CE) has teamed with portable Electric, a Vancouver, British Columbia-based manufacturer of silent, emission-free, portable and mobile electric charging stations, to deliver sustainable, efficient mobile charging solutions for construction sites.
Volvo CE’s 245 North American dealer locations will provide clients the possibility to bundle with the purchase of Volvo electric equipment as part of this cooperation.
“We are thrilled to be collaborating with Volvo CE to bring our Voltstack 30k Level 2 e-Charger to customers across North America,” says Portable Electric CEO Scott Hardy. “The Voltstack 30k Level 2 e-Charger, with its silent operation and emission-free power source, is an ideal mobile charging solution for construction sites where noise, air pollution, and recharge times are a concern.”
The collaboration between Volvo CE and Portable Electric, which has its North American headquarters in Shippensburg, Pennsylvania, emphasises the firms’ shared commitment to sustainability and innovation in electrifying job sites.
