INKAS Expands North American Manufacturing Network with Three New Production Facilities!
INKAS, a Canada-based manufacturer of armored vehicles and integrated defense systems, has announced a major expansion of its North American manufacturing operations with the addition of three new production facilities across Canada and the United States. The new sites are expected to be fully operational by July 31, 2026, significantly increasing the company’s manufacturing capacity and strengthening its ability to meet growing demand for armored vehicles, tactical platforms and advanced defense solutions. The expansion reflects INKAS’ long-term strategy of enhancing production capabilities while building a more flexible and resilient manufacturing network across North America.
The company has secured three newly leased facilities that will serve as manufacturing and production centers for its expanding product portfolio. The first facility, located in Toronto, Canada, adds approximately 42,000 square feet of manufacturing space, further reinforcing the company’s presence in its home market. In the United States, INKAS has established a 200,000-square-foot armored vehicle production facility in Charlotte, North Carolina, representing the largest investment within the expansion programme. A third facility in Fort Pierce, Florida, contributes an additional 31,000 square feet of production space, strengthening the company’s manufacturing footprint across key strategic locations in North America.
Combined, the three facilities will more than double INKAS’ total production space, providing the company with substantially greater manufacturing flexibility and capacity. The additional infrastructure is expected to improve production scheduling, optimize workflow management and support higher output levels while enabling the company to respond more efficiently to increasing customer demand. The expanded manufacturing network also provides greater operational resilience by distributing production capabilities across multiple locations, reducing potential supply chain risks and supporting future business growth.
The new facilities will support manufacturing across several of INKAS’ core business segments, including armored vehicles, tactical platforms, unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs), drone systems and special-purpose vehicles. As defense organizations, law enforcement agencies and commercial customers continue to demand highly specialized mobility solutions, the increased production capacity will enable the company to manufacture a broader range of products while maintaining high standards of quality, engineering precision and delivery performance.
The expansion is also expected to strengthen the company’s ability to manage current and future production programmes by providing additional space for manufacturing operations, assembly activities and systems integration. With more production capacity available, INKAS will be better positioned to undertake larger contracts, accelerate production timelines and support complex vehicle customization projects that require advanced engineering and specialized manufacturing capabilities.
Beyond increasing production capacity, the investment demonstrates INKAS’ commitment to long-term growth and technological advancement within the defense and security industries. Expanding its manufacturing footprint allows the company to improve operational efficiency while creating a stronger foundation for future product development and innovation. The additional facilities are expected to enhance collaboration across engineering, manufacturing and integration teams, enabling more efficient execution of complex projects and improved responsiveness to customer requirements.
With the addition of the new facilities in Toronto, Charlotte and Fort Pierce, INKAS is significantly strengthening its manufacturing infrastructure across North America. The expanded production network positions the company to support rising demand for advanced armored vehicles and specialized defense platforms while reinforcing its ability to deliver high-quality, mission-critical solutions to customers across military, government and commercial sectors. As production begins at the new sites, INKAS is expected to further enhance its competitiveness through increased manufacturing capacity, operational flexibility and a stronger platform for sustained growth.
