Ola Electric Begins Large-Scale Deliveries of Vehicles Powered by the New 4680 Bharat Cell!
Ola Electric has commenced large-scale deliveries of its vehicles equipped with the newly developed 4680 Bharat Cell, marking a significant milestone for India’s electric mobility ecosystem. The S1 Pro+ (5.2 kWh) is the first scooter to feature this fully indigenous battery pack, delivering higher range, stronger performance and improved safety. With this step, Ola Electric becomes the first Indian EV manufacturer to handle both cell manufacturing and battery pack assembly entirely in-house.
The company stated that customer response to the S1 Pro+ has been exceptionally strong, with deliveries already underway and expanding steadily across the country. As production volumes increase, Ola Electric expects the rollout of vehicles powered by the new Bharat Cell technology to accelerate further in the coming weeks.
Powered by a 13 kW motor, the S1 Pro+ accelerates from 0 to 40 km/h in just 2.1 seconds and offers a certified range of up to 320 km (IDC with DIY mode). The scooter features four ride modes—Hyper, Sports, Normal and Eco—along with dual ABS, front and rear disc brakes, enhanced seating comfort, updated mirrors, a redesigned grab handle and a refreshed colour palette that includes Passion Red, Porcelain White, Industrial Silver, Jet Black, Stellar Blue and Midnight Blue.
Ola Electric’s wider portfolio spans the S1 Gen 3 range with multiple battery options, the mass-market-focused S1 X series, the S1 Pro Sport lineup and the Roadster X electric motorcycle range. Prices across Ola’s offerings currently range from ₹84,999 to ₹1,90,338, depending on the model and battery configuration, reinforcing the company’s ambition to cater to a broad spectrum of Indian EV customers.
